Beating like an African drum wondering where you are
I mean by distance u are a step away yet oceans apart emotionally
Where are you?
Who am I to turn to?
Like a child with an out passed curfew,
You are a parent blinded from that fact.
How much of intellect
Does it require for u to learn of such an act.
You have the cure in your hands
Yet u watches me shrivel in your hands.
What happened to you?
Is it me or is it somebody?
Are you buried up in your own miseries?
To realize these never ending cries?
Well maybe I am JUST TRIPPIN!
The great sea of paranoia, might be where I have been dipped in
It might be that time
That time that I need to let u leave
To let u leave my buzzing hive
That has been stopping u from living your own life.
Maybe u have done your part
And feeling this is your queue to depart
Even if so
For the role u played in my life, much is appreciated.
Its time I become my own man
Time I apply what u instilled in me.
